Unsubstantiated Claims

Greetings! Unsubstantiated Claims. In recent years I have become more and more aware of how vitally important it is to not “muddy the waters” by making statements of opinion that have no basis in fact. What does that really mean? Well, honest and intelligent people around the planet are reporting events they cannot explain, events which challenge their belief structure, events which leave a lasting mark on them. This has been going on for many, many decades. Now while objective examinations and thorough investigations have shown that the vast majority of UFO sightings are explainable by mundane phenomena, there is certainly a possibility that a percentage of the remaining sighting reports could very well be truly anomalous, and perhaps extraterrestrial in nature. That is a fascinating possibility to ponder! Unfortunately, if we as a community of UFO researchers and UFO witnesses begin to accept every photograph, video, or claim as valid without any sort of independent investigation, then we are opening up a “Pandora’s Box” type of scenario that is impossible to close. The image attached to this blog posting was stated to contain a “giant ‘Square’ looking object (in the clouds.)” The alleged object was supposedly hovering over the house in the image. No investigation. No analysis. Nothing. Just an opinion. Not good enough! The end result is that some quality data, and some physical evidence, of a truly anomalous event might fall through the cracks as a result of the attention paid to an image like the one shown here. That is to the detriment of UFO witnesses, and the UFO investigators attempting to assist them. Thank you for your precious time.
