Not Good Enough

Greetings! Not Good Enough. In today’s environment, due to the Internet and the ease with which content can be shared, it has become quite common to see images which allegedly show unidentified flying objects. Such images are often described as alien spacecraft without a shred of evidence to support the claim, or any sort of outside examination of the image by qualified professionals. While I respect every individual’s opinion and point of view, from a research standpoint such unsubstantiated claims are simply not good enough. Any claim, any position, any declaration, needs to be supported by data and evidence which has been obtained and validated in an unbiased and objective manner. Just making a statement of belief is simply not good enough, for statements of belief are by definition biased and originate from that individual’s belief structure, not from the results of any sort of legitimate investigation. To be perfectly clear, my opinion, my position, and my point of view on the matter is a non-issue, and not important at all. What is important is the effort to investigate all data, content, and evidence, in an effort to determine what is truly going on, if anything. It is not what we believe that matters, it’s what we can prove that does, and we can only determine that through investigations, not by simply making statements of belief. Note: The image attached to this blog posting is not an alien spacecraft, but simply a reflection. Thank you for the privilege of your time.
