The State Of UFOlogy

UFO’Real? A Historical Review

The State Of UFOlogy

Greetings! The State of “Ufology.” My search for knowledge, and answers, to the UFO enigma is a never-ending and rewarding endeavor. It can be quite a frustrating exercise; searching for valid data, all the while keeping myself aware, and separate from, the chaff which exists in the UFO community. Despite these obstacles, I wouldn’t change a thing. The rewards far outweigh the negative aspects of the journey. To be perfectly honest though, the UFO community can be tricky to maneuver through, with a number of individuals pushing a narrative, or creating content which may place monetary gains before objective research, profit before knowledge. Now, I am not passing any kind of judgement on the narrative or content being promoted, that is for each individual to decide, but I am deeply worried about the integrity of the UFO field. The UFO community has an unfortunate habit of ignoring red flags, or embracing people who have questionable backgrounds, which is untenable at the very least. Individuals who “attack the messenger” instead of answering valid and essential questions are given a pass. For some reason, such behavior is accepted, instead of called out for what it is, uncouth and unprofessional. Thank you for your time.
