Technology: Making Photographic Evidence In Search For UFOs More Than Difficult

By William Pullin, UFO Historian

Greetings! Technology. As the decades have passed, the technology which has been developed and made available for use by the general public has become quite formidable and capable of things which were unthinkable just a few short years ago. Despite this situation, it has remained difficult, to say the least, and at times downright impossible, to collect high quality, non-hoaxed, and unexplainable photographic images of unidentified flying objects. The modern technology we have available to us as a species has unfortunately made the process of hoaxing, or of creating artificial images of UFOs, quite easy for not only the qualified professional, but for anyone behind a keyboard anywhere on the planet. In addition, some of these artificially created images are being accepted as legitimate photographic evidence of non-terrestrial artificially manufactured mechanisms, which speaks volumes about the lack of critical thinking prevalent in the UFO community. This whole situation has made the search for legitimate photographic evidence of UFOs extremely difficult for investigators of the phenomenon, not only in the field, but behind the desk, or in the archive. Perhaps, with time, this will change. Many thanks for your kind support.
