Rolling, Rolling, Rolling; Keep Those Clouds A Rolling

It has been confirmed a mysterious formation in the Tennessee skies, that many believed was a UFO, was a roll cloud. These fairly rare cloud formations can appear after a thunderstorm.
Roll clouds are tube shaped, and detached from the base of a thunderstorm, which differentiates them from the more common shelf clouds. They look as though they are rolling, much like a giant, horizontal rolling pin in the sky.
Residents of the Adamsville, Tennessee area were shocked to see the roll cloud appear after a local thunderstorm. They were quick to contact news outlets and the National Weather Service in Memphis with concern that it was a UFO.
Everyone was assured what they had observed was a roll cloud, and not a UFO; however, people still are looking up to the skies, just to make certain off-world visitors were not behind, or inside the huge rolling formation over their town.
