From Beyond
Not Of This Earth

Elephants In The Room
Greetings! Elephants in the Room. During the course of the past eight decades, perhaps longer, unidentified flying objects have been reported from every continent, coming from individuals of all walks of life, and from all belief structures. Objective and thorough investigation, by civilian groups and independent researchers alike, has shown that 90 to 95% of UFO sightings are attributable to mundane or explainable phenomena. This leaves only a small percentage of sightings in the unexplained category. How many of these remaining unexplained cases could possibly be of extraterrestrial/unnatural origin? Nobody knows. It may be a mystery that we may never solve, but that is besides the point of this blog posting. Contained within the small percentage of unexplained cases, there are many, many cases that simply boggle the mind, and defy rational explanation. Does that mean that the explanation is necessarily alien? Absolutely not, but it does, at the very least, suggest something truly anomalous may be occurring. Cases ranging from Socorro, to Rendlesham, to Stephenville, to Roswell, seem to overwhelm the other lesser-known, but potentially important cases. Does this lessen the importance of Roswell, or Socorro, or other such well-known cases? Absolutely not! Is this situation to the detriment of the effort to understand the UFO problem? In my humble opinion, no, although it must be stated that the ignoring of lesser-known UFO cases is something to be avoided. A little research on the part of any UFO enthusiast will reveal how many interesting UFO cases are “lost in the shuffle” and/or forgotten to history. I strongly encourage the search for information on these “lost UFO cases,” it can be a fascinating journey of discovery. Thank you for your time.
