In Greetings! Critical Thinking. In the process of working in the UFO field, challenges present themselves which demand a commitment to rational thought processes. Critical thinking. Information, photographs, testimony, and raw data all should be examined with an unbiased mind, and a keen eye. Using logic is essential when trying to determine the validity of such content, or when attempting to defend one’s positions to another interested party. The use of critical thinking allows for the taking of positions after a thorough examination has been undertaken, and concluded. The exercise, or process, of investigation is what matters; we can all agree to disagree, but if we take up positions without “doing our homework,” or make declarations without any sort of investigation having been conducted, those positions are not valid. It’s the process that counts! When we educate ourselves about the data, when we do our own research, instead of relying on what we see, hear, or read, we are able to communicate with others from an informed point of view. Ignorance is no excuse, and is simply inexcusable. The images attached to this blog posting were sent to me by an individual who made definitive declarations about what they contain, with absolutely no independent investigation having been done. According to the individual, they are, and I quote: “My alien friends.” No investigation=uninformed position. Unacceptable. Thank you for your precious time.
