UFO’Real? A Historical Review

Commentary

Greetings! Commentary. Scrolling through the feeds of various Facebook UFO groups is something I rarely do, simply because I don’t have the time, but this early morning I happened across a post in a French UFO group which I felt needed to be commented on. The post featured several images that were supposedly captured by the post’s author. She stated unequivocally that the images in question were of a “light ship” and that she had been witness to such phenomena before. She also stated that no independent investigation of the images had ever been undertaken. To be perfectly clear, the claims and statements made about these images by the post’s author are not the subject of this blog posting, nor is my professional opinion about these images. What is important is the responses that were contained in the comments section of the post in question. Lewd. Crude. Insensitive. Such comments seem far too commonplace in today’s environment, and I sometimes wonder what kinds of people would entertain acting in such a foul, immature, and irresponsible manner. Regardless of what one thinks about this person’s claims, that same person deserves respect and some level of common courtesy. Period. Thank you for the privilege of your time.
